Balance sharing (balance transfer) lets you send a few rupees from your prepaid SIM to another number on the same network — Jazz to Jazz, Zong to Zong, and so on. Cross-network sharing is not offered. Use the format for your network exactly; one wrong character and the code fails.

Jazz — Jazz Share

Dial: *100*receiver-number*amount#

Example: to send Rs 50 to 03001234567, dial *100*03001234567*50# and confirm. Jazz charges a small service fee per transfer and sets daily and per-transaction limits — the confirmation screen shows the fee before you accept, so read it. The receiver must be a Jazz/Warid prepaid number.

Zong — Yaari Load

Send an SMS: type the receiver number, a space, then the amount and send it to 999.

Example: 03111234567 50 sent to 999 transfers Rs 50. You will get a confirmation SMS asking you to reply/confirm — only then is the balance sent. A small service charge applies and is shown in the confirmation.

Telenor — Smart Share

Dial: *1*1*receiver-number*amount#

Example: *1*1*03451234567*50# — follow the on-screen confirmation. Telenor applies a service fee and minimum/maximum transfer amounts for prepaid users; the menu shows the current limits before you confirm.

Ufone — UShare

Dial: *828*receiver-number*amount#

Example: *828*03331234567*50# and confirm with your UShare PIN if asked (new users may first need to set a PIN / activate the service as the menu guides). Ufone charges a transfer fee shown before confirmation.

Before you press send, check three things: (1) the number is on the same network, (2) you have enough balance for the amount plus the fee, and (3) you typed the number digit by digit — a balance sent to a wrong number cannot be reversed by the network in most cases.

If the transfer fails

  • "Insufficient balance": remember the fee — keep at least Rs 10–15 extra above the amount you are sending.
  • Daily limit reached: all networks cap daily transfers; wait until the next day or send a smaller amount if only the per-transaction limit was hit.
  • Postpaid or blocked SIM: balance share works on prepaid. Postpaid lines and SIMs with outgoing restrictions cannot send.
  • Code not responding: dial from the correct SIM slot in a dual-SIM phone, and make sure you have signal — USSD needs a live network connection.

Safer alternative for regular help

If you regularly support family, an Easyload sent directly to their number from JazzCash, Easypaisa or your banking app often costs no transfer fee, works across networks, and leaves a receipt. Balance share is best for small, urgent, same-network transfers when no app or shop is available.

Fraud warning: Never share balance because a caller claims you won a prize, or asks you to "verify" by transferring. Networks and banks never ask for balance transfers. Also never share your UShare PIN or any OTP with another person.

Frequently asked questions

Can I share balance from Jazz to Zong or another network?

No. Balance share only works within the same network — Jazz to Jazz, Zong to Zong, Telenor to Telenor, Ufone to Ufone. For cross-network help, send an Easyload through JazzCash, Easypaisa or a shop instead.

Is there a fee for sharing balance?

Yes, every network charges a small service fee per transfer, deducted from your balance. The fee and limits are shown on the confirmation screen/SMS before the transfer completes — always read that screen.

I sent balance to the wrong number. Can I get it back?

Usually not through any code — networks treat a confirmed transfer as final. Your only chance is calling the helpline immediately (Jazz 111, Zong 310, Telenor 345, Ufone 333) and, politely, asking the receiver to send it back. This is why double-checking the number matters.
